No sign of Leif in my plaza though?

Also as I thought it was an event day, loaded up my Mayor to find a new villager plot in a place I don't want. Oh and for a villager I don't like. I knew I was due a new villager but didn't check with a new character as I thought they couldn't arrive on event day .... Now I can't reset them ...

Feeling annoyed with AC, really want those PWP topiaries.

Weeding day is the 26th for EU I believe. 25th for NA.

It says you get the topiaries if you enter the event with zero weeds. Does that mean if I go around on Weeding Day and pull them up before talking to Leif, that's all I need to do, or do I need to make sure they're all gone before 6am that day? I typically have zero weeds, but I'm a little worried about missing one.

Ahh okay thanks! Panic over!

Still annoyed I didn't manage to do the villager cycle knowing somebody was due to move in any day now. Damn you Kidd and your silly plot.

according to Weeding Day's wiki page, if there are no weeds prior to Weeding Day, then Leif suggests the topiaries. what I did was on April 24th (or the day before Weeding Day), visited the gardening shop's weeding services and asked how many weeds were present; he said 0. the next day, I talked to him in the plaza and he suggested the topiaries c:

I'm sure I can find them all, if there are any (Emporium is closed), but I wish having too few weeds to do the event would still allow you to have the topiaries. I wish I had some weeds, but I guess the beautiful ordinance keeps them rare.
