I'm not angry about it, I'm asking you guys to not do it.
But what if we asked you to stop talking about believing in god?
That's a complete different thing to ask.
No it's not.
Someone could be offended by you saying you're believing in god.
Asking someone to stop saying what the believe is the exact same as asking you to do the same.

All you're doing is telling them you believe in God. It's not even asking something. In a way, I'm trying to know them better in certain cases.

So.. it's okay for someone to tell someone else they believe in god, but it's not okay for someone to tell someone else they don't?

You've got it all wrong. It's the matter between stating it as a fact, and stating what you think.

But either way it's an opinion.
If you state it as a fact, it's still what you think. Nobody else has to agree with it. It's the same on both terms, If you say, "God is real." it's an opinion. if you say, "God isn't real." it's still an opinion.
Neither are fact to everyone.

And yet, someone simply stating that there is a God wouldn't even cause an eyelid to batter.

Edit - I'm also fairly certain you believe that you have to preface everything you think with "I believe". You don't, the distinction you made in your first post here is trivial.

But if you're saying, "I don't believe God's real." Or "I believe God's real." which are what I think would be better to say, you aren't saying it's a fact, it's just what you believe.

All I have to say is jesus *censored.3.0*ing christ you are one of the most annoying members I've seen thus far. Your topics make me rage.
So every time he makes a topic you get up and destroy things?

oh gawd.

That's just life, People will agree or disagree with you.
For example. If I like pizza better than pasta and people say to me "Pizza sucks" then would you tell them to stop saying it?
I am a Christian and I understand why this may hurt, But you have to just ignore the comments because at the end of the day, We will have to find out the real answer when the day comes.

Hmm, he seems to have put me on his ignore list, how funny. I'm quite honored, really.

Again, it doesn't offend me easily.

It's the same way, I don't see how adding, "I think" to both of those make them any less offensive.

It would back you up, but still, I'm asking you not to.

Saying "I think" usually means you're respecting others opinions as well.

It's to get less flaming, and to stop offending others.

And if you asked everyone to stop talking the way they would like, do you think they would?

This whole thread is pointless. People will say what they want how they want to, offensive or not.

Again with what I said, People should learn to ignore the comments and keep their believes to themselves.

Also I don't think anyone on TBT gets too offended with religion.

I'm sorry, but when did it come to pass that offending someone became unacceptable? You have the right to be offended, but not to prevent others from speaking because of it.
