I simply can't catch a bee

i have fruit trees in my town and I keep shaking them empty then shaking again (all 50 of them) and never a bee hive falls out. Really need a bee for my enclopedia ! Would going to the island help? Thanks

You need to shake regular trees, not fruit trees.

Bee hives are never in fruit trees : o Best to grow a regular tree & try shaking it periodically.
