i reset my day 1 island, need to be cheered up ;_;

I'm less bothered by the date stamp on the achievements and more concerned about actually getting them. Some people who started on march 20 could have potentially rushed to get as many achievements done on day 1. But that being said, I'm not going out of my way to quickly get the achievements, I'm just playing at a normal pace. There may be a few that I got at an earlier point in my current playthrough than when I got them on my original, but I don't mind. I'm more like a child in the sense I just get this excitement upon collecting those stamps on that page. ^__^

yeah, i'm a lot like that, too.
what about the nook mile badges where there's also date attach to them? would you do the ones that feels un-natural to do on your first day (like popping the baloon into the water which can technically be done on the first day, but i doubt you would have done it on your first day unless you knew this badge existed).
Personally I think I wouldn't try to perfectly recreate my first town with all of the achievements and everything. If that's what you want to do I say go for it, but if it were me I think I would just accept that I reset the town and play my new one as its own experience, if that makes sense.
