i really, really hate that villagers can change catchphrases without asking.

LOL, the same thing happened to me a while back with a villager I was tired of, I don’t remember what the catchphrase was but it was something dumb, I was sick to my stomach to see my favorites using that catchphrase! Luckily it was only a few who were using it.

It's fun to see which catchphrase will spread around the most! Also, if it annoys you too much complain to Isabelle and it will reset the villager catchphrase so it's not that bad. I made the mistake to give a "character based" catchphrase to one of my villagers and it spread around too much (why would a lion say mooo like a cow? lol).. Also luckily Hazel is still using her iconic uni-wow

AHH that reminds me, one time I changed changed my villager Ankha’s catchphrase to mongrel (it’s a reference about Gilgamesh from the fate series) and it spread like wildfire! Now, all of my villagers are calling me mongrel. And also, whenever people visit my island and talk to my villagers, they call them mongrel as well TT_TT I never took that into consideration and now I want to change this stupid catchphrase so badly!

Seriously. Marina now ends every sentence with "me-WOW!"

I mean, I know Tangy is super cool, but I really did not need Marina copying her in that regard!

Oh, and Cranston now says "blurp." I'm hoping eventually they'll all trade catchphrases enough times that each of them gets their original saying back....
