I know it helps you decorate, but I feel if you are actually trying to get prizes, it can become a dictatorship. It tells you what to place where, stripping away the creativity of it. Why must we have to follow your rules to get prizes? Why can't it be decided by creativity?

Yeah I agree that why I did the HHA first to get it out of the way so I could decorate my houses as I like :)

I agree 110 %. A complete furniture set in every room of your house is just not my idea of a cool home for my mayor. No fun.

I also feel really restricted to just putting "full" sets in my house instead of decorating outside the lines..

oh my god

you guys. jsut

I...the HHA kept me prisoner...ever since I started the game, even though I HATED it, I forced myself to cram sets in my rooms...it took so long...I finally completed the HHA...and I don't even like the damn golden exterior pieces!! >:C

so not worth it. For any new players reading, DONT do the HHA. The prizes suck and it's totally not worth it. ._.

luckily, now I've TOTALLY redone my house and I love it! :D

It's pretty crazy how much you have to do just to get some prizes or exterior.

yea, I hate how basically the only way to get super high points is to cram a bunch of sets and pictures in your house :C I gave up on the HHA and even though I got the points needed for a gold badge, I still don't want to expand my last room so I can't do the gold challenge (not that it matters since I wouldn't use it anyways lol...)

I got mine done quickly in my 1st town and than changed everything. In my other 2 towns I just pass the first 150K challenge and than quit. The houses are theme or store shrubs and other items.

To get the challenge down quickly pick the easiest one. Order 5 sets of the least expensive one and put them in all the rooms.
Most annoying was the kitchen and bathroom items. There are very little of those items for rustic. Why didn't the game have a set of each for all the different themes? One of my villagers said they have no little boys room at the store. And than he said the town doesn't have one.

What's worse is that even after the theme challenge, HHA STILL restricts you, because you feel pressured to use the golden exteriors. I actually don't like it and now i have to use it.

Actually, I have the idea to renovate my house into something more cool-looking and just keep the golden roof so people know I did the whole challenge (since the roof is the last reward you get xD)

I'm really po'd Lyle doesn't say "Wow! You completed the theme challenge! Get a super-rare-actually-useful-item that isn't orderable that will sell for tons on TBT!" instead he just goes on "Man your new name is Chops Buster even though you have over 2 million points..."

I was really expecting a you-completed-the-theme-challenge reward :(

TBT in a nutshell

I would love to get silver badge, but I cannot be bothered really... I love the way my house is!

I got the gold medal thing from phineas then I stopped with the fancy housing and made my house how I wanted it

Honestly I like collecting full sets and its not uncreative O_O I just like things neat and orderly. My weeding day room is pretty creative. (lol I have a Paul McCartney stained glass window bcuz y not)

I like 2 of the rewards. The House Model and the HHA Jacket.

The HHA jacket is my second favorite shirt in the game!

It's just weird how you're supposed to build your town any way you want, but then the game tells you what furniture to put where, how many trees/flowers/PWPs you need etc.

I may or may not give in and get the gold badge on my main character, but I've gotten all the items including the house model just by storing rare items in my other characters' houses.... I'm definitely not going to bother with the theme challenges.

(And what's with having to use full sets anyway? I've never met someone in real life who had a bed in every single room....)
