I Need Your Opinion!

After posting my other thread about a New Leaf Fan Group and getting some replies, I've been wondering if it's a good idea now.
I want to create a group for sure, since I've already gotten someone to donate and I'm currently in the process of making them an Avatar...but what should it specifically be about? Should everyone there have their own individual Blog discussion where they post pictures? I don't want it to be exactly like the New Leaf part of the Forums already here; I want it to be creative, yet something related to an AC:NL Fan Group. Plus, lots of people here already have their own Blogs, so I don't know why they would make another one. I mean...it seems kind of pointless, since it would be so much like what's already here...so how can I make it creative and fun for everyone that joins?
Does anyone have any suggestions? All answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm... rather than a New Leaf Fan group, maybe you could pick one small strand about New Leaf that you could base the group upon? Maybe a group to do with players' houses? So they can post pictures of their room, and discuss items and themes... etc. I don't use the group feature at all, so I'm not sure. :s

Oh, that's an awesome idea! I just might use it...but I want to see other suggestions too. Does anyone else have any ideas?

To be honest, groups, although they may have a lot of members, do NOT get the same reception as the main forum. For instance, I run the Writers' Guild and only a small handfull of people actually post anything. I check around ever other day to see if anything needs to be moderated but usually the members are pretty good.

Really think about it. Unless you narrow down your group to a specific thing, like Marceline suggested, it will basically be the Bell Tree Forums within the Bell Tree Forums. You will see a lot of repeat topics that you can find on the main forum board. Aside from that, good luck with your group but remember, forum rules still apply!
