Sorry to hear I just lost Chief in a TT accident, but thankfully someone is holding him for me as he was intended to go to my other town anyway so I don't need to do the 16 villager cycle. But this is quite a tricky dilemma... I think you either have to find a new dreamie, or give up on one of your villagers to cycle 16 in and out. Another cute octopus to keep in mind is Zucker if you want someone similar to Marina.

Yes, he is number 6 on the top tier list while Marina is number eight. Their price range should be similar.

If you have a tumblr, you should also check out villagertrade.tumblr.com. People post the villagers they are trading and what they want in return daily there. Usually they ask for villagers but almost always accept bell offers, and you are not allowed to pay over 1 mil there so it's usually cheaper. I got Sterling and Colton from here.

Are there any other one of your villagers that you would be ok with losing? If you let them go and cycle out 16 villagers, you can get Marina back, and if you cycle out another, you can get that one back right after. As long as you had nine villagers when Marina moved out.

@ people saying give up -- ?????? Why? If she was her last dreamie, why replace her? Wat? It's not hard to cycle 16. My gf has literally almost completed the process for Hamphrey, is at 12/16 now, hasn't lost anyone, and went from 5 spots to 2 now to 1.

If you're careful you won't lose anyone else and you can get through it pretty fast as long as you're doing it frequently. I went through 2 16 cycles at the same time, though I had 7 I could move in and out at the time.

I'm really sorry that happened to you, though. I have no room, sadly, as I'm still holding Hamphrey for my gf. But I think giving up is taking the easy way out. Only give up if you have to start at 0/16 and have one spot to move people out lol
