I need help :(

Hello! Ive recently gotten into redoing my town and getting a new path etc.
But the path I've done takes up all of my design slots. I like to wear custom clothing and i realize that If i change one of my path squares to a custom design it will automatically make my clothes a path! Which sucks
So, does anybody have any suggestions of what I could do?

The only real way is to have another character. Have you filled in the flag slot? I think you can replace the flag slot without it erasing your flag, so if you haven't replaced that with a path pattern yet, you could use it for clothes.

Nothing will happen if your mayor keeps those patterns, but if you replace them (even if the mule character has copies), they will be replaced by the new pattern as normal. If you want to replace those patterns on your mayor, you need to use the mule to do the paths all over again.
