I need help with my hybrids!

So, I started a new town just for the purpose of farming. I keep watering all of my white and red roses, and sometimes I get Pinks, and some other times, I get more reds or whites. I also get purples from doing this and blacks from breeding pinks with other pinks. By the way, I always remember to plant flowers diagonally from each other. Any ideas on how to make more hybrids?

OK, thanks, Snowesque, even though I don't have any access to any of that. Maybe I should only water my pinks?

Only water those you'd like to breed. I'd put pinks next to pinks, and purples next to purples, as it narrows down the colours they can breed into. At least that's my personal experience..

For stable Pink Roses, try breeding with only Red+Red Roses to get them - Pinks from them are much more stable to spawn more pinks from. This works for Pink Lillies, too.
