I need help... or a doctor

So my best friend Marina moved away unexpectandly. I'm really sad and am entering the stages of recooperation
Stage 1
Finds out a dreamie is moving, and is very distraught and sad
Stage 2
Reads their moving away letter, and cries for a little bit
Stage 3
Conceals yourself from society, like an outcast cocoon
Stage 4
Reads over the letter, cries for abit, then decides to move on reluctantly
Stage 5
The next day you decide to pick up the game and start it up
Stage 5.5: On Rare Occasions (It's happened to me)
Isabelle says that another dreamie is moving out
Stage ?
Repeats process again
Stage 6 (If you get past 5.5)
You completely move on

I'm at the end of Stage 2. Can anybody help me get through this? Do you have any advice? Has this happened to you?

I can't offer you anything that will make you laugh because having a favorite villager move out just sucks. But hang in there! Someone might be willing to sell/gift/etc that neighbor back to you or you can find a new dreamie for your town.

I've lost so many Dreamies you don't know the pain. merengue, whitney, chrissy, and pheobe, all because of me time traveling.
its a flipping habit i can't stop I'm so impatient you don't know

Next time, to see if someone's planning on moving, use this guide! It works 100% of the time. I haven't lost a single dreamie since I started using it a year ago, even when I stop playing for a month or two at a time.

To use it you basically just have to talk to your villagers a lot each day and pay attention to what they say, looking for certain phrases. Good luck!

Aww, that happened to me before too. It gets annoying how villagers randomly move out when you don't have the time to play everyday, or you like time traveling.

Anyway, I ended up resetting instead of going through the 16 Villager Cycle. Luckily I hadn't done that much in that town. Even if you don't reset (And it's better not to), at least you have the Cycle to get them back.
