I need help figuring out house placement.

I just reset and I'm trying to set out paths all around . However, I am unsure if some of my placements are acceptable. Please help me out . These two areas specifically are giving me trouble. Which one is acceptable? Or are none ?

Top is acceptable, bottom isn't. The game counts the space in front of the door as part of the house, so you need to be two spaces from a cliff in front of a house.
