I need game advice :P Which one should I get?

So, I've been thinking of buying a new game to get over my obsession of trying to find out when the new Smash Bros is coming out and I've decided on two games:

Kirby Triple Deluxe
Mario Kart 7

If you're wondering, "hay why aren't you saying tomodachi life," well, I'm not that interested in it. So I've decided on these two games - I've always been a fan of the Kirby games, but I've never actually OWNED a Mario Kart game before and it sounds fun. Which one should I get?

Mario Kart, I would have said it's one of the better if the AI wasn't so damn terrible. Still it's a good game with good retro tracks as well.

Also New Year's is just a placeholder for the games that has no set date yet.

Hah, yeah I really doubt they would release by that date also

But still, get 7. I'm not a big fan of newer Kirby myself and heck 7 is at least better than some in the series..

I've been playing Kirby Triple Threat, I absolutely love it! It's got the game play and charm that captivated me 20 years ago. It's fun, seems like a fairly big game so far (I've played for quite a few hours and only am getting a "10%" complete). The story is kind of weak, but Kirby never really was about story, it was all ways about sucking things up and beating baddies senselessly. I'd recommend it.

This thread makes me excited for KTD then. I want it cause supposedly it's similar to Kirby 64 (my favorite ever) even though Kirby is losing by 1 vote so far in the poll haha

I just voted and now the poll is at 50%.....heheh. I voted KTD, I love Kirby and it's more of an adventure! I feel like Mario Kart could be easily cast aside, especially when the hype dies down and there aren't as many online players.

From my experience of Kirby games they get boring after a while, mk Aja's a lot more replay value

so much, the few kirby i had was pretty much go through then done

That's pretty much been Kirby though since Kirby 64 imo. The replay on that was a little better due to some collectables, but yeah Kirby is an adventure and you finish and that's it, unless you want to 100% it (if that even really applies) and the multiplayer always lacks online so that chops down on the replayability for some I'm sure.

MK7's online is funky now if you ask me. Just because it feels like most people either finished and moved on to MK8 or nothing... so a lot of times I can't get anything but skipping around Japanese drone karts. If I get normal people it's like super experts who haven't put the game down since day 1. Which can be fun too, but pretty stressful for MK haha

I got Mario Kart 7 in the post yesterday and was bored within an hour. It was so disappointing compared to the other games of it. :c I'm selling it today anyway.
It really depends on personal preference, but I'm gonna buy Dual Destinies tonight hehe.

I voted for KTD. It is an easier game, but you'll have fun playing it the entire time and when you're done feel satisfied that you got you money's worth. I've had MK7 for a couple years and still haven't completed all of the cups.

Definitely Mario Kart. It'll never get old, there's no "goal" where the game "ends", and its multi player ^^
