I miss to-go coffee & Home visits :(

Going into the game, I really thought that it was going to be the same as the first one I played where villagers can visit your house, or they invite you over at a certain time! Hope they can bring that back in future updates. It's sad having all these cool items inside my house that my villagers can't interact with!

y'all are really making me miss new leaf, guys 😂 i can't even physically go get a to-go coffee right now to make up for it either !

i'd forgotten some of these, ugh ! i miss the music of new leaf tbqh. and the island multiplayer games sighs. feels like a pressure to finish my island v fast so that people have things to do when they visit bc there aren't games? anyone else feel that oof

When I read this thread I thought you were talking about the quarantine, haha!
But yeah, I do miss some of those villager interactions a lot. Mine don't ask for much at all. I wish they would! I love running errands and stuff for them.

I actually missed these things so much ya girl started a new leaf game and I forgot how good it was and I've played it to death.

I always missed the "ask for a job" option from the original Animal Crossing. I always thought it was odd that they took it out, and even stranger that it never made a return. It was such a useful option to keep from getting bored. I used to spend about 90% of my time just getting jobs and running back and forth. It had an addictive quality to it, like gambling. You never knew if you'd get a useless shirt, or some bells, or even an item you didn't have. I loved it.

I didn't play the original GC version until after Wild World and when I did I was like-- Why was this removed?! It was such a good feature haha

I don't really miss anything because I'm still playing my NL town as well and actually really like the stuff we have gained in NH, so I'm not so focused on what's "missing"

I mean I'm still playing my New Leaf town too. It doesn't mean I don't miss those features in the new game. I'd really like to sit in my outdoor cafe and drink some coffee y'know?

i miss it, too. i miss seeing brewster and getting to work at the roost. i miss playing hide and seek with my villagers. i miss having them invite me over or inviting them over. there’s so many features missing that i took for granted and i just want them back :c

I play all the Animal Crossing games.

I really miss hide and seek, invites to houses, villagers randomly coming by your house, villagers giving you gifts that isn’t sunglasses and clothes, the flea market, all the missing NPC characters and all of the cut furniture sets.

You know, you guys can just go back to playing New Leaf if you miss those features that badly... :/

I miss dream villages. I was kinda excited to have them again in the game when it was popular because I played New Leaf like 2 years after it came out and never got to see it in its prime. Now I was really disappointed I wouldn't be able to roam around people's villages for inspiration whenever I wanted or visit weird themed villages.
