I love this Solstice Day

So cute, I didn't know it would stay dark all day, and the cute wand OMG.

With this forum and tumblr and youtube I have pretty much seen every special item in this game and it was just a nice surprise this morning to get a gift from Isabelle and it was an item I didn't know existed!!!

LOL I don't time travel but my DS is set a few hours back so the shops are still open when I play later in the evening. I thought I had done something wrong as well!

It is a nice surprise! I love the fact that it is dark all day except in my game in my one town it was dark and snowy and not clear. It made it look grim but in a few of my other towns they were nice and clear. They are all set in different years LOL.

does it affect villagers' moods? because right now 4 of my villagers are prancing and humming! at the same time! that's almost half of them! i've never seen it before!!

It shouldn't. Your villagers probably had happy conversations right before you saw them. Mine do it a lot.

Yeah, I agree. It would be better if it got dark earlier in the winter and later in the summer gradually like in real life. Instead, it gets dark at the same time every day except for the solstice days which are just really weird.

I agree with ^ Red Cat. Regardless, I do like the Winter Solstice. The glow wand is cute and when the sky is nice and clear it looks pretty.

Don't get me wrong; I love my blue snowflake glow wand! LOL. I just don't like it being dark all day.

I like it too but Isabelle is being extremely nosy and wanting me to wear long sleeves instead of my 7-11 shirt. i mean i like how she cares about her boss lol but she doesn't have to be nosy and remind me lol (i may have ADHD but i can remember some things)
