This will be number four, two for me, one for my daughter and one to share.. good grief, the Animal Crossing force runs strong in this family. How do you handle multiple towns? Do you have certain towns that are perfect and just require bare bones upkeep to make sure no one moves out? Are some works-in-progress? Do you have scheduled days on and off? Do you go crazy, lol? What is your multiple gaming strategy?

Well I've read some people make a note of the last day played for their other towns, dedicate their time to one town for awhile...load up one of the others and set the date to the last played date to ensure no one moves out unexpectedly.

I have two towns, but I'm really only focusing on my all-bunny town at the moment (I still play my other one daily to make sure no one leaves) so I can landscape, which will take me FOREVER.

How do you have more than one town? My hubby told me you can only have one town at a time with multiple character files. How do I start another town but still keep mine?

Another cartridge. You can only have one town per cartridge, but lots of us are crazy and buy multiple copies, lol.

Gaming Kitty, we have two DS's. Each one has a downloadable version and a cartridge version of the games.

I take turns playing mine. I might play one an hour or so for a week, then play a different one the next week. However, when I get a new town, I play that one the most. I always make sure to stop playing a game when I stop a villager from moving. That way, no one will be in boxes when I return.

Have fun playing your new game. :)

Holy crap cats, so some people have FOUR cartridges? Holy canolli,I could only ever hope to be able to afford that lol. Not like I need another town, I can barely figure things out with one as it is lmao

I wish I had two towns omfg. I'll be helping my little brother get his dreamies and help him with his town in general once he gets his copy but that's probably the closest I'm gonna get lol

I only have 2 towns, Noxus which I play daily, then Bunville I play everyother day mainly cause I hate the layout of the town, its a mess, and all the villagers I love moved out.... So i turned it into a cycling town for now.

I play all three of my towns every day. Though if I know a villager just moved out the day before, sometimes I'll skip a day if I'm just not feeling it. But usually, I'm feeling it!! This game is so addicting.

Noveon is like 98% finished, I'm just putting down a few last paths here and there, so it's mainly just upkeep and keeping my villagers from moving out. Once it's 100% finished, I'll probably hardly ever play it again. Maybe I'll log in once in a while to update the dream address if it disappears, but I'll use the DS clock trick to TT back to the day I left off, so no worries about losing any of my villagers.

Most of my time goes into Luneta & Pyrena now, though I'm building those up very, very slowly.

I'm personally hude on marking down when I last played a certain copy of my ACNL games [I have 5, but only 3 actively used <-<] so that when I do decide to focus on just one I can also resume where I left off on another. I have a serious addiction to video games, it like isn't just ACNL, I have 3 copies of Omega Rudy and 4 of Alpha Sapphire. ._.

I'm actually getting a second game today! I bought HHD and didn't really like it, so I sold it and I'm using the money to get a second NL. I plan to just play around with the second one though - meet lots of villagers, not worry about playing it every day or week and just let villagers come and go. I'm looking forward to being able to play differently on a new cart!

I dont have 2 animal crossing towns but on harvest moon i have multiple saves of the game. What I do is I ussauly have my first one that did not go over so well one for my bros and then there is the one that I use to get perfect all of the items everything how I want it etc. If I were you I would focus on 1 or maybe 2 towns and almost forget about the rest maybe use them as a item storage or something.

I only want one town because I can't hand multiple towns :(. Removing the game card too much burns the slot out. I wish I could have a family that plays games :). Good on you!

Wait, I'm confused. Because I have a bunch of 3DS games and switch them on a semi-regular basis, the card slot will burn out?

Well, for the older games, such as SNES and N64 and such, that it doesn't burn out, but the springs become less springy or something and they wear down and it becomes hard to read after a while. For the discs, they become so used that they become hard to read.

Maybe the spring mechanism is the same for the DS? I don't know for sure honestly.

Well. Guess it's a good thing I have three 3DSes, plus my boyfriend's two systems, lol. That should keep me going for awhile.

I just never realized that happened, because it's never been an issue with me.
