I just found out you can't change your eyes..

For some reason I'd thought that Shampoodle would let me change my face type too but I was sadly mistaken.. I got my dream town-map and now I don't even want to play because I hate my eyes..

nope, thats why a lot of people used the guide before they started the game.

you know, i never thought about it before, but maybe thats why MMOs only let you change your face if you get a character recustomization? huh.

I've never thought about it that way haha. I guess I'm just too used to MMO's where you can pay for facial cosmetic changes.

yeah but that comes with an entire recustomization, usually. so like, youre not just doing the face, but your whole toon. (not sure which ones you play tho)

You could just wear glasses or a mask or something

In my first town I didn't like my villagers eyes either (before I knew there was a guide) and so I wore the funny glasses item that gives you large kawaii eyes. I actually like a lot of the face masks in the game as well, so there's that.

Edit: You can also choose to use your Mii instead of your villager's head.

OH okay, never played that one color is one thing, but i think shape might go into weirder territory. i dont even know man i try to make mine look right from the beginning (thats why i dont like answering questions that determine my looks like excuse me i wanna look thru all the options not be surprised)

I actually thought that you can change the eyes as well, but after playing a while I realized that you couldn't after all I never used any face guide when I started, but I don't really mind it, cause I like the face I have.

Just create another character in your town. I think you can even take the same name. Just use a guide and get the right face, there's no need to redo your perfect map.

aw...don't let eyes ruin your game experience...it's really no big deal! plus all those cute eyes are overrated, right!?


I didn't use a guide or knew about this forum or anything when I just started the game so I got these boring round blue eyes that don't look cute or anything, but you know what...it represents my true personality since I picked what I answered in the beginning and well...i already worked way too hard in my town to start over lol


You can still look cute dressing up, or use another character

Is it possible to make another character and change it into the mayor then delete the past character? IDK I have heard it is but IDK if its possible.

I think that not being able to change your eyes is really unfair. The game is a lot less enjoyable if you have bad eyes, which forces people to restart. You can change your hair/skin/clothes/eye colour/everything else, so there's no reason why people shouldn't be able to chnage their eyes.
If it represents plastic surgery, then tanning represents standing outside in the sun for 8 hours without sunscreen.

I'm more disappointed by the limited options in eye color.

I mean for hair we basically get the full anime spectrum, but for eyes we only get the most basic real eye colors with most of the options being only a slightly different shade of another?

In ACCF I regretted my pick as well. There they didn't even allow you to change the face or the color.

But in ACNL I thankfully knew better. Sorry to hear OP that that happened though.

I wish you could because I want to change my face to this so badly that I don't want to miss my town because I restarted on May 7th and its 2 months old. Plus If I do that, i'll have to say goodbye to this face forever!
