I finally got to finishing Your Lie In April and I just have to say I cried a lot. Not until the credits started rolling though. This was the best anime I've ever seen so far.. Sad, but it was worth it. 11/10
Kaori deserved better.

Love, love, love this anime. I highly recommend this to people that have only watched stateside Anime, which are usually shonen.

"Did I reach you?"

ahhh, i loved that anime!

the ending made me so sad, but it also left me fulfilled(?) if that makes sense. i don't usually like sad animes because i'm a sucker for happy endings and people getting together, but it was a very fitting and realistic end to their story. i had to rewatch OHSHC to soothe my soul though lol

have you watched A Silent Voice or Your Name? They are movies but well worth watching. I believe A Silent Voice is on Netflix.

I honestly can't remember if I cried or not, but knowing how I usually am, I probably teared up but didn't fully cry. Either way, I thought it was a really good, sad anime.

I only watched half of the anime because I read the manga and finished it before the anime finished airing.

Couldn't make it to the end because I knew what was gonna happen 😭

I cried a lot watching this anime. I had a love/hate relationship with it. Very good though, 10/10.

i gotta watch that one!!! i'm a sucker for sad anime........ have you seen A Silent Voice or Anohana?

It's been so long since I've seen it, but I'm pretty sure I at least teared up.

No. I've never cried from an anime. The closest I've felt is for Grave of the Fireflies. That's a movie that is incredibly good but can spiral you into depression, no joke.

Your Lie in April is very good though. From a different perspective, if you want to watch more anime that features musicians (but isn't necessarily sad), I recommend Nodame Cantabile and Sound Euphonium. The latter is made by the famous Kyoto Animation studio.

And speaking of KyoAni, if you want to cry, check out Clannad. I didn't cry from it but this is one that is famous for people saying they cried from it. It's long though. It's 47 episodes across 2 seasons.

I watched it like two years ago and yes I cried. I don't really watch anime anymore but I really liked it and the first opening is soo good.

I didn’t cry with your lie in April, but ive watched Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Anohana a gajillion times and still cry everytime
