i have actually frequently thought that the DIY's learning ping reminds me of the matrix downloading skills directly into people's brains. don't know how to make a castle wall? no worries, just plug in to the mainframe with this nifty lil code card ! haha.

Our NookPhones are just portable encyclopedias. I think learning DIY's and stuff is kind of like an over-the-air update of sorts, like editing on a Wikia. I do this sometimes on a few actual sites.
When it comes to an AC wiki, however, all the knowledge is already there, and I don't have to really do anything. These are some hardcore players of the series on such sites!
