I have a question about the 3ds,

Does the physical copy and the digital copy share the same memory. For example if I have a 3ds with a digital version of animal crossing that I just purchased. And I insert my physical copy.. will they both have the same towns?

Digital and retail version won't share the same save data. SpotPass and StreetPass are shared, as in "first come first serve" basis. Whichever version gets booted first after receiving SpotPass and/or StreetPass data will take them.

They don't. They are completely different copies. The digital one stays on the home menu FOREVER the physical does not if you own multipule games.

No. The physical save file is on the cartridge, the digital on the SD.
