...okay, that might be pushing it, but if he still leads that forum after it's done with the "maintinence", it's gonna be a pretty bad forum.

As I understand it....they found a new forum to handle the bandwith issues they were having...but I didn't see evidence of anybody being stuck up or whatnot...so can somebody fill me in?
I was only po'ed that I asked to have my posts restored two days ago and yet Bul and Master (no offense to you guys...just using you as an example) joined today/yesterday and got their posts restored before me....that was kinda stinky IMO.
Anyhow.....we'll see what's up.

I also noticed that. It looks like they made several lists (opening a new one every time that the previous one got big enough), but for some reason they were reading them in parallel, instead of finishing one list and then going to the other.PAPASMALLS said:
I also saw a few posts in the Power on forum where it was mentioned that people were made admins, then demoted, then made mods, then demoted again; it looked like it was a mess. That's what I was afraid of: complete lack of organization.
By the way, the Nsider2 forums don't look bad. They look more organized, but I guess that the fact that there are not hundreds of ex-nsiders trying to get in helps a lot.

Along with Bulerias, I was there watching it happen in Power on, so I'll tell you what happened, at least what I thought I saw happen, it was pretty funny to watch
I'll make it short a quick.
It started with a bunch of spam in the power on thread. And while that was going on, people started asking why it wasnt getting deleted. Then as it grew, some of the users and mods started questioning the admins of the site. Then all of a sudden the people questioning it where getting de-modded or banned. Thats basiacally when all hell brook loose.
Spam started being all that was posted, people questioning what was going on were banned, mods that questioned his admins were getting banned, all while M_F did nothing about it. Then M_F posted his own thread, ripping people, acting like a 5 years old, saying certain people where "Gay". So another admin actually banned him at that point (only lasted a few seconds).
Thats when the spam turned into porn threads being made, flash pictures with loud music started showing up and its was just crazy. Thankfully they closed the board after this.
Well, thats what I saw, I know I couldnt get the whole story just watching the Power On board, but still, on all sides, it was just ugly (but still funny).
So now at least we know why NSider was so strict. And I actually blame nintendo a little with this. They told these kids to make there own forums, kids that didnt know how to run them. It wasnt ALL them, but they had their part to play.

Wow, I'm sorry I missed all the excitement....well, not really. I've decided that I will probably not visit that site except for on Mondays to read the reviews from Wisdom, Courage, and Power (can you guys figure out who is who), and to post in the prediction thread. There's too much junk going on and when a bunch of guys who don't really know what they are doing, start a forum this popular, it's bound to crash and burn sometime in the future.
This has me thinking...
It would be cool to have a separate forums just for VC and possibly Wii games. I know it wouldn't be as popular as the Nsider clones, but at least some intelligent stuff could go on there without as much spam and Admin/Mod drama. It would be great to be able to focus on that stuff here, but a lot of the older TBT members aren't that much into VC. I do hope that changes though.

I'm glad I didnt go over there. I'm really not much of a forum hopper. I tend to find what I like and stick with it. I think the VC appeals to all gamers in the fact that the titles it represents stem from all our past experiences. You can bet if you are old enough to be posting on the forum then you are old enough to have played the N64 at least. I also like that this community is small enough for me to be able to post in many of the sections and not just VC which is where I stayed most often before. Being able to talk Wii, VC, Tv shows, authors, and who knows what else with a good group of people is what a successful forum is all about IMO.
Yeah, they never updated my rank, even though they sent me a PM saying they were working on it. It's a poorly organized group, and I think their worst problem is that they try to be an Nsider clone without understanding why Nsider worked.InfinityDragon said:

I already mentioned something like this to Zimms. I dont have the time now, but I was thinking about making a All VC website. But I wont do it half a**ed so I'm not even gonna plan anything until mid october when I done everyhting with my wedding.DemiseofGanon said:

Even though I'm out of school and have a "responsible adult job" I also have a family so I know what you mean about money being tight. College eats money - PS2 eats children - Children (food, dance class, soccer, food, school, doctors, more food) eat more money than college.
P.S.: my kids aren't fat but I believe they could eat 7 meals a day if allowed!

So, are you planning on moving from the "weird Nsider" to "Nsider 2"? I might start posting in the latter if you're all moving there (it looks way better than the first one). Have the problems with the speed been solved? I guess this question is for Leg, who has already registered there.
