I got braces....

Ya.....I got braces on Monday. The braces themselves aren't that bad themselves, but the worst part, is when you get spacers. If you don't understand what any of these orthodontical tools are.....then you are lucky. I was just wondering if anybody else had braces, and if so, did they hurt? I haven't been able to eat anything solid for the past few days because it hurts so much to chew... >_<

At least you know how I feel. Lucky me I didn't need spacers since my mouth was already wide. Don't worry, the pain goes away within a week. For now be sure to brush your teeth and eat pudding or yogurt. If you need anymore questions/tips about it, let me know.

Pudding, Applesauce, and milkshakes are now my main foods.....It's not even funny.
The rest of my family gets to eat fried chicken tonight....while I am stuck eating this mushy stuff >_<
Btw, spacers are the worst part of braces in my opinion.

Yeah, I've had braces for 2 years now... People may say they are the worst when you first get them: They are a pain until you get them off. They completely suck, and you'll hate them.
