I found Raymond, and then I lost him.

Sorry, I just needed somewhere to vent. As you can tell by the thread, I did in fact find Raymond. On my 22nd NMT too. When I saw him, I was so excited because I've been looking for him. Not like obsessively, but he's high on my dreamie list, so of course I invited him. I left the mystery island and checked out the plot he was to be in. I decided to time travel (I'm an avid time traveller) to see him in his home. I hit the save button and time travelled. Well, after changing the date, I accidentally closed the game. I initially thought that this was no biggie, autosave had my back....right? Wrong. I come to his plot only to find out someone else took it. I was beyond devastated. This was only an hour ago and it STILL hurts. I know it's my fault, but now I'm going to have to go through the pain of finding him all over again...

Yeah I have. I do have marshal though, however I planned on kicking him out as I have his amiibo anyhow. It'll take me a while but with the method it should work eventually

Yeah I have. I do have marshal though, however I planned on kicking him out as I have his amiibo anyhow. It'll take me a while but with the method should work eventually

Or you could repeatedly sell marshal so you can buy raymond, raymond's prices are going down since most people have him now

That's an interesting idea honestly! I'm not one to charge a whole lot for villagers but I could just do auctions maybe

This was my worst fear. I always made sure to go home, check the plot, and save when I got Raymond or any other nice villager from the islands.
