i time travel a lot to cycle out villagers for others and while i'm doing that, i'm just constantly talking to him and gifting him things and i've had him on my island for agesLucky you! I’ve been trying real hard but I’ve received none so far
i'm never going to sell him because i just love him so much, so i'm not really bothered about him being original ☆
but i'm sure you'll get a villager photo soon maybe focus on 1 villager at a time ♡

As someone have suggested, wrapped foreign fruit works. But if you have materials to spare, craft iron wall lamps. Villagers don't display wall-mounted furniture so you don't have to worry about destroying their interiors.

If you're willing to spend some bells, buy them items you think they might like based on their color theme and personality. It doesn't have to be done all the time and they don't have to be expensive, but I honestly feel that it helps.
If they ever write, pay attention to what they say because it might give a hint as to what they might like.

For my game, I find that the hardest photos to get are the ones from the snooty villagers. They are somehow very difficult to convince. I've gotten photos from at least one of all the other personalities, except the snooty.
