So, some of y'all might remember my threads before and asking for tips... and this one worked, aka. putting rotten turnips on the asphalt road and wait:

Thank you for helping and coming with suggestions, turned out this one worked the best since ants can't spawn on the road/path if you use the stone road(s?, I haven't tried the other non-natural paths)

💗

That is cool, congratulations :)

I caught mine just last sunday - the burned firework attracts them too.

Ahhh, your success has given me hope! I have had no luck with this so far but I will try this tomorrow.

Congrats!

And yeah I heard that worked as well - Though I was a bit impatient since I finally got my rotten turnips heh.

Ahh, thank you so much and best of luck getting one :D

Yaaaaaas!!! Congrats!! I never thought to put a pattern down so ants can't spawn. Great idea!

Yeah, it's actually a path - one of the stone/asphalt ones and not a pattern but yeah, someone mentioned it in my last thread and it was basically my last hope (Now I know about fireworks but I couldn't wait since I finally got some rotten turnips)

I’ve had no luck with flies yet either! Will buy some turnips and TT to see if I can get it to work🤞🏻

Good luck! And yea they were a pain in NH to get, wish I knew about this stone path trick earlier aaa

Congrats! this thread reminded me to run to Daisy Mae before she leaves to grab some turnips to spoil :' ). i always forget

I should bother doing this one day to complete my collection. Congratulations though!

I have been taking so long to catch a fly, and I have finally caught one some days ago. After catching the fly, I caught a horned Hercules and giraffe stag. I only have nine insects left to catch, the peacock butterfly, the monarch butterfly, the dung beetle, the tarantula, the red dragonfly, the damselfly, the bell cricket, the cricket and the mole cricket.

Congrats on catching a fly! It's ironic how long it can take to find one when they're so common IRL in the summer. XD
