The net is really weird. I've whacked villagers over the head with the net when I was trying to converse with them. It's pretty annoying. Even when I go to shake trees with my net out in case of wasps. Sometimes instead of shaking the tree, my villager will hit it with the net, even though I'm next to the tree.

I hit Dobie with a net once and his confused little look crossing that gray snout of his just killed me right there TwT he looks so frail and I’m worried I could somehow hurt him all the time!
