I feel so bad today

This morning, I played a bit to get the morning session DIY and then let my character stood in front of my house, and continued doing my work at the office. Then I saw Wolfgang facing me, with all the blooming joy reaction. So I quickly press A cos I didn't want him to lose the 'thing' he wanted to tell me. I forgot I was holding a net, and end up SMACKING HIM HARD ON HIS HEAD!! I WAS SOO MAD AT MYSELF!! I would have screamed if I wasn't at work. I wish I could smack myself back!! Then, I talked to him. He saw my swollen face, advised me to be more careful when shaking trees, then gave me a medicine. Just like a grandpa taking care of his granddaughter.. I feel.. gosh!! I'm so sorry Wolfgang Now I never know what it was he wanted to tell me..

Try not to feel bad, as I know even though they aren't real, we still have guilt over certain things, so just write to him to make yourself feel better.

one time i accidentally smacked marshal (who's my all time fav/the reason why i started playing acnl and picked up nh this yr) on the head bc i was still out of range to initiate a conversation with him. i felt sooo bad after too but then i went to get him a little gift and wrote him a cute letter. that made me feel better about accidentally hurting him lol...

Thank you everyone for your kind words, really appreciate it! I will be more careful next time when approaching them. I know they are just characters in game but they do evoke some emotions inside us. And I want to be a better person for them

I’m sorry that happened. I always feel bad too. I think it’s because of how they react when you do it. I hit K.K with a net yesterday and felt nothing. He just continues to play like a machine. I accidentally almost hit Dizzy twenty minutes ago luckily he just happened to have fleas.

lol, don't feel bad. I have stupidly whacked my villagers on accident so many times.

I actually made one cry and mind you, I'm someone who doesn't feel bad (or at least horrible) for slapping them with the net until this time:

Then it finally let me apologize to him.

I think the game is really forgiving if you do end up spilling some tears and blood. Just don't hold your net because it will be your downfall.

@Pyoopi yes, I think the game is really forgiving. He is doing naruto runs now, holding something that looks like green hyacinth. I feel much better seeing him alright and enjoying himself with his pal

Yeah, I imagine them being in their sixties personally, or perhaps even older, for me, Fang was like a grandfather. I’ve speculated a lot about villager ages, I feel like I probably view them as quite differently to most of the community, but who knows.
