Poeple have complanied that Sony's consles are too expensive(they are actually under the price the should be) and say they should be lower, poeple say that they won't buy the PSP becuase it is too expensive, and they want Sony to leave this business and go bankrupt!

But if they do, then the price for consles and games will go up, and online play will too! Becuase there isn't any compitition left, the low price consles will go up, as well as the games!

i mean, I love being able to buy things at a low price, and so does the goverment, if Sony needed a donation to stay alive, I would hope that poeple would give it to them.

(I am not including the XBox in this becuase it would be to complicated)

uhh... that wouldn't exactly happen...

you can tell because nintendo has gone a long time without any competition in the handheld business... those were WAY cheap... great, everyone loved them... they were not overpriced like you say they would become... nintendo isn't the type of company to do something like that... sony, however, is. they would stop at nothing to get a dollar... you can tell this by their marketing, manufacturing, and other things...

marketing: they use the image of "your cool with this" who else uses that? cigarette companies... they target kids... make them think they are nobodys without them.

Manufacturing: ever noticed why Sony products break so easily? simple. they use the lowest grade material you can find anywhere... im surprised the PS2 was made of plastic instead of old newspaper.

G4 had a test to see which of the three (Gamecube, PS2, and XBox) were the strongest.

the tests:

a sledge hammer
dropped from holding height

Sledge hammer:
PS2 (slim): the thing got a big dent in it... wasn't ever able to play games after.
XBox: due to its extra steel plating (ever wonder why it weighs so much?) it took the blow pretty easily... nothing really wrong... maybe a small chip. games worked fine afterward.
Gamecube: withstood it perfectly... took even less damage than the XBox.

Dropped from holding height:
PS2: the thing shattered...
XBox: well, the weight must have been its downfall... it fell like a brick... broke some important things... but could be repaired.
Gamecube: made the CD holder bump up... but was still playable.

theres a quick rundown of what happened. this test happened a long time ago.

end results:

Gamecube: minor damage
XBox: large amount of damage, repairable
PS2: Shattered, irreprable.

It's true..., Nintendo's Systems are the most durable of them all. My sister has a GBA SP that she has dropped countless times on the floor, concrete, asphault, and besides a few scratches, it's fine.
