About 50 % of ACNL players got it June 9th. Please stop making excuses for not having progressed far in the game. It's all about hard work.
Also, how DARE someone have the game before I do.
I know people who reset recently and still have a fantastic town. It's about effort and hard work, not time.

I got my game in July 2013, and my house is fully expanded and decorated to my tastes. I've also started working on my other houses and have several fully expanded rooms.

It's pretty easy to make bells in this game, bug hunting, turnips etc. I'm not sure what the problem is .

It's kinda OP's fault for not paying off her loans. If I have been playing for a year, and I have still not fully expand my house, something is obviously wrong.
Within a few hours of selling a tier 1/2 villager on the forums, I could pay off my loan. I sold Roscoe for 10 million on my fifth day!

Yeah I got the game a month ago and not a single person has been at all rude to me. Having more than two expansions after having it since last may (i believe thats when you say you got it) is beyond easily attainable. I reset a few nights ago and already have three expansions; the only reason I haven't fully expanded is because I'm trying not to TT a ton. What exactly do you consider cheating? People make a lot of money by trading things with others on TBT. That's hardly cheating.

I started both of my towns June 9th. Someone else could have gotten the game on June 9th also, but set their date to April '13 or before because they wanted to be able to catch some bugs & fish that wouldn't be around in June and didn't want to wait a year to be able to do so.
I have 4 houses in each of my towns and they are all fully expanded and have been so for quite some time. I would go beetle hunting on the island EVERY evening and sometimes several times a night. I worked hard to get my towns the way they are. I'm not done yet, but I also know I will never be done.
If you don't like people "rubbing it in your face", turn off Streetpass.

I got the game this year, like a couple months ago literally. I'm not mad someone has a cooler town than me. I'm like "WOW DUDE! What a cool town! I'm going to really enjoy visiting this dream town a lot!"

If someone was rude, that's one thing, but having a nice house and a nice town is the point of the game. Doesn't matter when you got the game. Enjoy making your house(s) and town beautiful the way you want. It doesn't matter if someone else has a amazing town and a gazillion bells. Go learn how to sell turnips and hunt bugs on the island and sell TBT. I paid off all three of my houses within about 2 months. I did some Time-Traveling to get unwanted villagers out and bug selling and turnip selling. Make your town nice. Don't whine about someone else's town.

From what I understand, the OP is complaining that other people got the game before her/him and they're mad that other people got to play more (and therefore have better houses)? What?

They have a nice house/town because they worked for it. They didn't cheat, because there's not even a way to cheat. You obviously want to have a nice town. So get bells and make a nice town instead of complaining about it on the internet.

Also if you read the rest of the posts from this thread, pretty much everyone has pointed out that having a giant house means squat in regards to when you started playing the game. Anyone can have a giant house in a week or two if they hunted beetles every night. It doesn't matter when they started the game, it matters how they played it.

Envy is a bad thing. Instead, you should compliment the person on how nice their house is, because they spent their time to earn bells for it. There is no way to cheat. If you don't want to see streetpassed houses, you can always turn it off. Making a thread about this is unnecessary.

Those who have houses from before June 2013, are either Nintendo staff, those who were asked to test out the game before releasing the localization, or those who have the Korean or Japanese version.

So they started in April and have a giant house. Great. They worked hard to pay off their loans and upgrade their house. Does it really make a difference when anyone starts their game? No. Get over it.

It's not nice to put people down, whether they're envious or if their points and rants are invalid. She may not know how to get so many bells, just because we have something doesn't mean she does. The first few comments made sense: Yes, this is a pretty invalid argument, but now it's just getting slightly cruel and out of hand. We've made our points, now let's all scurry to another thread, plenty of juicy gossip elsewhere.
