thanks to the kind people of tbt, i've finally gotten nine bear cubs! i know there's more than nine of them in the game, but i don't plan to get a tenth (if i do it will likely be kody, as i already have 2 lazies and i don't need another). i'd like to thank everyone who's helped me get here!
i feel kind of dirty having gotten all my cubs from other people (which wouldn't be the case if i wasn't dumb enough to let pudge and chester leave without even asking about it) but at the same time, i'm grateful that these forums have so many kind and generous people! plus, it's fun hearing my cubs talk about their old towns, even if they were cycling towns. in particular i've heard from poncho and cheri about their old mayors, and they all just can't stop singing their old town tunes!
before chester left, he'd buried a time capsule and never got to open it. i knew he'd be back one way or another, so i kept his reversi piece in my home until he returned, and then i mailed it to him. i know he's not the same chester, but he still feels the same, and i treat him as such.
and in case anyone's wondering what the heck happened to chester, pekoe and cheri, i made a whiny thread about it when it happened. basically, i got an unwanted villager from someone's streetpass void (boone), and i was really upset because he took up my tenth spot and i was trying to get bluebear in my town. so, i started cycling like crazy. but i made some big mistakes resulting in losing three of my bear cubs and i cried like a baby, but because of me being so dedicated to cycling through villagers, i was finally able to get my cubs back! i wouldn't have been so determined if it weren't for everyone's encouragement. and i also feel really bad for the first people who gave me cheri and pekoe, because they took the time to give me my cubs only to have them disappear. that's like giving someone a gold watch and then a month later they break it permanently. i'm really sorry to those people, i hope you don't get angry with me.
pudge had nothing to do with the whole thing, by the way. he just moved because i didn't play for the entire month of april (except for like 2 days) last year.
i'm so happy these people have been kind enough to give me those lovely bear cubs! my bear cubs make me so happy, and they mean so much to me!
