I just started up my winter town, and I didn't think it had been more than a few days of not playing it, so I didn't set the time back any. I was just going to open the gates up so my main town mayor could come visit and get the two other t-rex fossils so I can customize a t-rex statue for my study. Anyways, I got a letter, didn't read it, continued to walk around picking weeds, killing the flowers, and digging up fossils until I walked by a dirt spot in the shape of a villager house. It was Whitney, my favorite villager and the one I had for the longest (in that town at least). My heart stopped. I looked at the letter I got, and sure enough, it was Whitney's goodbye letter. It literally brought tears to my eyes reading it, because it was so sad. T^T It read:

The truth is, Brycen,

By the time you read this, I'll

be on a train heading off to

a new life in a new town. It

was too painful to say good-

bye in person. I'm sorry, and

I hope you'll forgive me.

I have to get her back. Hopefully I can pick her void up in my cycling town and cycle through 16 villagers in my winter town and move her back over. There's no other option. I have to have her in my winter town. She's too perfect not to have. :c

Update: Whitney DID move into my cycling town! I came over to adopt Dotty to fill in the spot she left, and was continuing to cycle, and she moved in next!! : D

Tragic story. The same happened to me with Chester. I wanted to quickly cycle out 16 villagers and Chester was the one I'd go to for rumours about someone moving. Then I found out on his moving day and I had no hope in stopping him. I let my cousin pick him up but I'm probably going to have to get him off the forums again because she has no care for her villagers, time travels and all sorts because she wants the bells and is probably going to lose him to the void
