I was going through my town, y'know, just a normal day as my Mayor. And then... Truffles plots. Like, seriously Isabelle?! You can't tell me when a new villager plots, much less let me put PWPs where I want. Unless Nintendo puts this in the Fall update, you're fired Isabelle. And since I saw it with my mayor, I can't plot reset, can I. (since they moved right by my path.)not like i would really want to because it's freakin' Truffle. I already had a pig in my town, one was bad enough I don't need another. Jeebus. Anywho, anyone know a fast way to move a villager out? I want Truffle to so bad.

Awe, I'm sorry.

It's definitely not the fastest, but the best method to get a villager to move out is to have a high friendship with them. Do errands for them, talk to them, anything that'll boost your friendship...I've found that the better friends you are with a villager, the more likely they'll ask to move.

Do I have to?

another option is to start a new character, and then completely ignore them so they don't get on the "friendship ladder" (you have to interact with your other villagers as the side character though.
after about a week (? maybe longer?) they should move out.

i read a guide on this but i didn't bookmark it so if i find it again i'll let you know!

(i used this method and it worked for me with pietro - i tt'd which made the process quicker)

I found this helpful for me! It only took me about... 20-30 minutes :)

Thanks, I try that. Also I checked that thread and I know a person named Tammy who's a real ***** so, I feel ya man.

Yes, Truffles is the literal worst. She has haunted me since city folk.

I know that feel bro, I got her thanks to my gf. Truffles just arrived unexpected and she set her house just next to mine, so every time I started the game I had to see her ugly presence in my town. And the worst part, the ***** took a long time to get out. She told me she would leave but the second day the stupid pig changed her mind!!! I didnt know about resett trick...

Just use the time travel method.

you can time travel 2 days in the future with isabelle clock, enter your town, save and quit, and come back to your regular town. Go and walk arround your town till someone ping you, if it is not about moving, you can talk to different villagers to know who wants to move, then look for him/her and if it is Ken, good, tell him the negative answer, like "good luck" or "good for you" or "bye". If it is another villager you want him/her to stay, just say "don't leave me" or something like that, and then repeat the process till Ken wants to move.

Some tips:

Time travel is dangerous for the perfect town score, because if you don't have the beautiful town ordenance, your flowers may wither and there may be weeds all over your town. So I recomend you to have the beautiful town ordenance active in order to avoid this.

Some villagers, may change their minds when they want to move, even when you say the good bye answer, so, try resetting the game, just press the home button and quit without save, enter your town again and wait till the villager ping you again to tell you he/she wants to move, keep trying till they give you the "thank you" answer, and then just wait till he/she leaves.

If you resett, keep in mind that your progress will be lost till the last time you saved, so, try to not do anything important that day, or save before you talk to Ken.

Sometimes you can save yourself by turning off your DS and then plot reset. You might be saved but in this case probably not, because you've been playing for too long. For future reference, I guess.
