I am really excited to see everyone's reaction when the game comes out. It will be fun to get to experience the game at release with everyone else. When New Leaf came out I didn't know about Bell Tree so it will be new to me. Seeing how hype everyone was when the game was first shown at E3 or when the direct came out I really liked how lively the forum was so idk I am kinda excited for that lol. Unfortunately I will be out of town so I won't be able to be one too much at release...but I am excited to see when I get back. I of course will still be playing while on vacation lol.

Anyone else feel the same?

Yes! I think one of the best parts about Animal Crossing is how many different ways you can play it. I like to focus on collecting clothing and interior design. I spent FOREVER customizing each individual piece of my Rococo set and tracking down pieces of the Mermaid set (I eventually just used TBT to buy it from someone else hehe). Other people might care more about interacting with villagers and building cool PWPs around town (let's just say the Mayor of Wishvale was more into funding private projects over public :d).

I also LOVE trading with others and having visitors over, so I'm really excited to get that up and running. It'll be very cool to see how the islands of other players look. I'm sure I'll end up visiting some people's islands multiple times, so hopefully I'll be able to tour their islands each visit and see how they evolve over time!

It's going to be very exciting to see what features everyone discovers. You also get a little bit of insight as to what other people like in Animal Crossing from what they end up focusing on the first few days. I didn't end up getting my copy of New Leaf until a good while after the game was actually released, so I'm really excited for that new game launch rush!

I'm looking forward to having a community to share the interest with. For New Leaf I had very few RL friends pick it up, and most abandoned it after a couple weeks. Don't really know anyone who has the long term interest in it like I do.

I joined the forums a year after ACNL had come out so I missed all the hype. The hype part has been really fun for me too, so I can’t wait to participate in initial ACNH game play discussions as well!

I'm so excited to lay down paths, set aside places for gardens and parks and themed locations, landscape, dress up my character super cute (and download patterns hopefully), make my house look nice and cozy, and get to know all the villagers!! I can't wait to see what new villagers are coming, what species they are, etc. Could we even get a new personality type?? I mean, I think we're missing about 40 villagers if the 380 something villagers is right.
