As I've stated before, my daughter and I are having a contest to see who will get Julian first in their cycling town. Between the two of us we've hit over 200 different villagers. I've had repeats actually.. yes Coco and Marshal I'm talking about you two. Nary a sign of glitter, nor a hoofprint yet. I'm beginning to believe he's not real Perhaps if I were a shy young maid he'd be more inclined to come and visit.

My question is - are all 333 villagers assigned to each cartridge? As I've said I'm now moving into the repeats. Is it possible that the game cartridge only has certain villagers assigned to them? That'd be an interesting concept wouldn't it.

I have seen all 333 in my main cart once. When I was camp resetting once, I came across literally everyone who wasn't in my town EXCEPT the one I was looking for. Ironically it is the same one you are looking for. Then I accidentally loaded up and got Stitches. I invited him in, and the day his plot showed up Julian came to camp.

I got Julian rather easily on my cycling, well in my tent anyway. Recruiting him is another story...But what you can also do if you get down to 8 villagers and get a natural move in you can reset which villager you pick up within that personality. So if you are getting a smug move in you could do a new character reset until you got him. Just make a new person (you have to anticipate when the ropes will show up so just check each day) and then go find the ropes and see who it is. But on my main I haven't cycled through even a fraction of the villagers in my tent and I've had Marina in there twice. (full both times though)

Good luck on your hunt for Julian! =) Don't be too crazy and don't give up! Eventually Julian will appear, you just have give him even more time.... he might just be fashionably late.

I'd love to get in on this action...I've cycled so many villagers in my 3 different cycling towns (same cartridge), but I never paid attention to how many different ones I've had. I've kept track of who moved in & out, so it would be easy to match them up with a full listing of the 333 villagers in the game. Guess I found a project for tomorrow...

My Julian was a random move-in. I wasn't even looking for him specifically, but due to not having any smug villagers in my town at the time, I wrote his name down as a villager I would accept as my smug if he were to show up, so there's my smug sorted. I think it's just harder, or at least seems harder when you're dedicating your time to looking for the villager you really want.
