For the first time since I started playing ACNH on March 20th, I finally got two message bottles in a single day. I've consistently played for a moderately long time each day throughout the day, and I've never gotten a second one in the evening hours like many have stated. Until tonight, that is. At least I'm almost certain I got two, I definitely remember picking one up this morning when I woke up and started playing during breakfast...

So, yeah, you can definitely get two per day. I just have no clue how it happens.

I don't really remember what DIYs I get from the message bottles, was probably a shell related DIY, though. I tend to just see if I can use it, if not I just toss it in my house or trash it. :u

I started noticing it after I added a second profile. My main gets two, and my second gets the one. Granted, my second could have a second, but I never use it beyond 9a.

I've only got one profile, so I don't think that's the case for me at least.

Seems interesting. I don't get any seasonal stuff from them, just things I give to my second because I'm too lazy to post and too stingy to sell.

I think I read the turnover is 11am...so if you grab the bottle before 11am youll get another one at 11pm.

I've seen them at 7a and again at 11a or noon, so that can't be right.

I got two for my main, 1 for my mini ever since I added the second profile. And the whole premise of this post was that the OP started getting two per day with his single profile.

My main island player has only got one 2nd bottle. It was after a ACNH update and the DIY was a new one.
Both islands have 2 players. Those players have only found one bottle each day.

The last few weeks my extra players have been visiting mystery islands for fish/bugs. Found fossils are appearing each visit and DIY on most visits. Early on they found one fossil and a DIY was rare. Maybe it got patched on the last update for extra players.

I got two in a day for the first time a couple days ago! I also have one profile/character. Before that I actually had stopped checking for bottled messages for like a week straight. I just couldn't find it (it was hidden behind my pier lol) so I thought I had a glitch and stopped checking for them. After I finally found it, a day later I found two in the same day.

i’ve had it a happen a few times but only on my island rep, never on my alt characters - i find that it only happens for me if i get my daily bottle in the morning and then a second one will wash up at night ;;

i think i read somewhere that they spawn at 6am and 6 pm? but don't quote me on that lol

I've heard they respawn in 12 hour intervals. So if you pick one around 5am, you can get another at 5pm.

Interesting! I thought I got two yesterday but I figured I just forgot to pick it up when I played in the morning!
It would make sense if the 12 hour interval thing is true because I would have probably picked the first up between 5 - 6 AM and then found the other at night (maybe 12 AM or so)

(But who knows, maybe I really did just forget!)

I get one per day on the main island and if I use a nmt I might more from it.
