I'm really amazed by Apple's products and all, so maybe i'll reconsider into buying a cheap iPhone. But if i'm going to buy 4G, i'd probably wait until Apple fixes the problems.
There are no problems... >_>

Get the iPhone 4 now if you want it, and in the unlikely event that you do experience signal drop problems, use the free case that Apple will be giving out.
Just a few things i want to mention:

1. I live in Sweden. Signal will probably fail.
2. I don't have a Apple Store nearby ;P
3. What case?
1. Then you won't have AT&T, so you'll probably have a better wireless service than most iPhone users, lol.
2. Buy it online.
3. Your choice. Either one of Apple's own Bumpers, or a third party case. Apple will be giving out the free cases late this week on their website.

OM*G, i just checked price for iPhone 4G and it's almost 9000 swedish crowns ;_;

LeekEdit: cwatididthur?
I dunno how much that equals in US dollars, but if it's a really high price, that's likely the unsubsidized price (if you buy the phone without a contract, that is).

My good friend Google says:

9000 Swedish kronor = 1 220.949 U.S. dollars

Is that supposed to be a 1200 or just 200?

Get a regular phone. Don't get all the hi-tech gadget phones.
Exactly. A low payment phone or something like a go phone or a trac phone is good enough. I don't see why people would pay so much money on these phones with useless features on them.
The features are by no means "useless". Smart phones are very, very useful. Are they absolutely needed? No. But they do come in handy, and it's nice to have an all-in-one device that you can play your music on, browse the web, record and edit video, read books, and so much more, and, of course, it's also your phone. If you don't need all that extra stuff, then a smart phone isn't for you. But if you want the experience of a smart phone...well, get a smart phone, lol.
He's a lot of points there, except for reading books on an iphone, text is way too small for me, I know you can zoom in but then you'll have to scroll down more.

Then that's likely the unsubsidized price. It will be a lot cheaper if you buy it with a contract, which is what 99.9% of people do. The only reason to buy it unsubsidized is if you plan on jailbreaking it and not paying for the service.

The default text size is about the same as text in a normal novel, and it looks just as smooth as text printed on paper, thanks to the Retina display. You have to see it in person to truly appreciate it. It's amazing.

That's obviously bull*censored.2.0*, but a lot of people do buy it with a contract, and I intend to as well.

That's exactly what I said... It's cheaper with a contract.

Yes, one without a contract. that's why i want a Htc, they're not so damn expensive without contract.

That's true, I got my Evo pretty cheap.

the evo is pretty kickass, though the battery life is (as expected) pretty short, so i'd recommend getting a spare battery. plus, android OS is always a plus.

Contract or not, you'll still have to pay for the service if you want to use it...

I got and iPhone and I like it a lot so far. It's handy and fun for me.
