haha no problem. for the second photo, i have no idea @.@ maybe they cropped it somehow? but that wouldnt make sense because the pic is a regular size. ahhh so confusing. maybe you could ask them?

Yes the player has done it behind a tree. You can also do it on the start up screen by random if everyone is asleep. The camera will scroll over your town in a very pretty view. I believe you have to pause the game and save the snapshot on miiverse.

There are ways of glitching under the town (this may help) so that your character will be completely invisible. It's tricky, but very cool once you get it.

Hi! I'm actually the person who took this photo.
I took it by using the River Glitch to get into the water (which you can see demonstrated here), and then I used Photoshop to edit the visible part of my mayor out of the picture. If you look closely at the water in the middle of the picture (just above the roses in the centre), you might be able to see a slight distortion where my character was in-game!
