How to ruin flowers??

The flower buds will only be destroyed when they are ran through. However, they grow back in a couple days.

You can trample them by running but walking shouldn't harm them. They do grow back after a day in New Horizons. If you want to remove them you have to dig them up with a shovel.

Oh somehow a flower ended up on the ground next to the other flowers and I thought when they got ran on so many times they would turn into just a flower on the ground... also I was jumping on them over holes while working in the garden

Naw, you got nothing to worry about. Flowers are pretty resilient little buggers in New Horizons.

I wish you could trample them like in NL OTL I spent over an hour yesterday (and 6 shovels) digging up and just throwing away all the flowers in my town that grew out of control. My island is mess

Such a huge positive has to have a huge negative. That's how things tend to go with video games.
