How to put in paths quickly?

Hey guys, so I'm working on putting in my paths for my new town, but it takes soooo long to do it. It's a very daunting task, and I keep avoiding it, but it looks ugly without it. Any ideas on how to put down paths quicker? Also, I heard from someone that there IS in fact a way, but they don't remember what.

I usually dig 3 holes, then I walk close to the second hole and put 6 tiles. That only works if your paths are made of only one pattern and are 2 patterns width.

There's probably a quicker way to do it, though xD

Dangit, someone told me there once. Maybe it involved hacking, which I'm not going to be looking into doing.

i dont think theres a way to do it quickly.

i mean, i think its best to take your time and to take it slow, to properly place the paths down.

Okay, I guess that's okay, it's just so time consuming, expessialy with my map.

this definitely helps cut down how long it takes, rather than moving to each square at a time!
