how to move ONE specific villager out?

i've been trying to time travel her out for a trade for TWO HOURS. i'm suffering. please help me i never time travel i don't know how to do this efficiently

i did not move her in with an amiibo, she was a starter of mine. i've tried barely talking to her, talking to her until i can't anymore, having a mid-level friendship with her, doing all the favors she asks... everything. literally all my other villagers except one have pinged.

i've been kind of ignoring the other villagers, and so i tried doing the same to her to see if she would ping... nothing. someone please give me tips.

I could be wrong, but I think when you have a full town and want to move someone in through the campsite you can pick who you want to leave. If you have the campsite, try it that way.

Ignoring works, the villager that pings you is randomized I think though. I time travel day by day all the time and never speak to my villagers (for now) and they ping me all the time about moving.

If you haven't talked to the villager at all for a long time, they will never ping you because they have the dialogue saying "Oh, where have you been, I haven't seen you in forever!" They cannot ping until you talk to them to get rid of this dialogue. Other than that, who asks to move is random. Are you talking to your other villagers to hear the rumours about who is moving? You shouldn't just rely on pinging.

It seems as if the moving villagers is random, sadly. You could cheat and use an amiibo card to get rid of them faster.

You could use an amiibo card if you have one, that way you can select who moves out. Hands down the easiest way.

Considering using the W.Link amiibo to get Bettina's ass out of Sirius.
However, I must be patient and get along with her well.

i have been listening to villagers about rumors, i've always caught the mover and it has never been the villager that i want. i have amiibo cards but not of the villager i want, i can't afford the card i want, and amiibo villagers dont naturally move

Move in a same personality type from the campsite. I was trying to move Gwen all day and said forget it added a third snooty from the campsite and got a ping right away. Was very salty about it. Especially because it messed up me having 9 villagers in a row.

But the snooty from camp was Baabara and i love sheep villagers so much.
