So, a couple of days ago, i restarted my town
I chose a nice space next to a river, giving me space for a pwp or something

But no.

A villager decides to move RIGHT in front of my house.

It was way too late to plot reset..

Do you guys know an easy way to move a villager out?

The fastest way I may get them out is by introducing myself to them, then talk to every villager besides them.
Eventually, they'll want to move. Don't respond to their pings as well, even if you know they want to.
You could also keep TTing to the next day to repeat the process, making it faster.

I know how you feel-- the same exact thing happened to me twice!

This is the fastest and easiest way I know to move a villager out. It involves time traveling, though, so if you aren't comfortable with it, it will take a bit more patience:

Talk to the villager on the day they move in-- just once is fine. After that, ignore them. Making them angry or declining their requests won't help in getting them to move. Each day, find a few villagers to talk to, so that way, you'll know who will be moving. Once one of the villagers you talk to mentions their name, they should be set to move out, unless you tell them not to, of course. The villager you want to leave may ping you or may not to inform you of their moving, but it doesn't affect whether they will or not.

I hope that makes sense!

If they ping you and you agree to let them move, they may change their mind and decide to stay.
It's good to ignore pings altogether for this reason.

Yeah, you're right! Thanks for saying that.

Also, sorry I posted my answer after you! I didn't see you replied until I posted it, oops!

tbh the fastest way to get them out is to befriend them, then stop talking to them a day or two before someone asks to move out (if you tt alot then you kinda start to know when someone will ask). this was the only way my first move-ins finally left, ignoring them and making them angry didnt do anything, bc the game tries so hard to make you be friends will every villager. hope this helps !

An alternative that no one has mentioned yet is if you have a full town and use amiibo cards.
You can evict any villager with a compatible amiibo one and then plot reset the new villager the next day.
Amiibo villagers have a lower move-out rate, though, so it's best to move in someone you want to keep.
