How to make quick bells?

Lately ive seen alot of players on this forum who have millions of bells to throw around, how do they do this? I have to fish for hours just to get 300,000B! my orchard only racks in 60k a day and its just not enough! how can I earn alot of bells quick!?

I got over 300mil just from selling my tbt. And as you can see, I still have a good amount. 20mil is 100tbt, which can easily be earner just from contributing. I used to get 100 just in a day.
I did also sell turnips at one point, but even that wasn't as lucrative as selling Tbt. Before that I used to go to the island and could earn around 1mil per evening just catching sharks and expensive bugs. But it's time consuming...

The best (and easiest) way to get bells I've found is to do the island beetle trick. It's thoroughly explained here. Basically you set up the trees at your island in a certain pattern so beetles spawn quicker, and you catch a bunch of them and sell them at Retail for a lot. It's hard to get the hang of catching them at first, especially the golden stags, but you'll get the hang of it. You can get millions of bells in hours just from doing it.

As a poster has said, selling tbt works. 1 tbt equals 200k in game bells, I believe.
After you post enough, it goes up. So if you make it to 50 tbt, you can sell it for 10mil in game. That's what I've done.

Another few ways I do in game;
Sell my perfect fruit in other towns. It racks me in a bunch of bells.
Selling gold roses brings in a little.
Beetle hunting at the island.
Buying turnips and seeing what I can get from them. Sometimes Reese buys them for around 500, and people on the forum lets you know that and you can go to their town to sell them.


Also selling items on the forum helps. Some people don't have no problem paying IGB for your things you don't want.

A lot of people say catching the beetles on the island is good but it takes me so long, I find selling your perfect fruit in someone else's town (who doesn't have the same perfect fruit as you) is the best way if you have a lot of perfect fruit trees. It takes a lot less time.

If you want to try the turnip method, there?s a good guide here. Also if you have reddit, /r/acturnips usually has some good prices.

And, as others have already said, catching island beetles also is a good method. There?s a guide for that here.

And you can sell tbt for lots of igb on the Re-Tail board.

Selling TBT isn't an option as OP is a new user and doesn't even know what it is. The best option for you would be to go to the island after 7 PM and catch the beetles on the palm trees and sharks in the water. What you want to do is remove all trees and bushes on the island, and leave 3 or so palm trees on each side, with a fair amount of space between them. After 7 PM, you'll be looking for the following beetles:

Golden Stag (worth 12,000 bells each)
Horned Hercules (also 12,000)
Cyclommatus Stag (8,000)
Horned Atlas (8,000)
Horned Elephant (8,000)

You could also catch the Goliath Beetle but it's only worth 6,000 bells. Personally, I don't bother catching them. Also keep an eye out for sharks, as they will sell for around the same amount as the beetles. I'd also recommend filling the perimeter of the beach with seashells to stop Hermit Crabs from spawning. Any bug I didn't list you don't want and should scare away. It should take around 25 minutes to fill up your basket with beetles and you can expect around 360k to 380k bells selling them at Re-Tail.
