how to make more sharks spawn in your town?

How do i make more sharks spawn in my town? ive heard that you can catch them at night but they never spawn ):

According to Wikia, sharks are found from June to September 4pm - 9am. You can also visit the Island and find them there year round.

I don't get many sharks in town, well I don't fish that much.
The island is great for sharks - I do well (on the island) around 5 to 7pm - nice sunsets as well at that time too.

I don't find sharks on the island much, but there's a better chance of them showing up there than in town, unless you're in the summer months in your town they're out of season.

In summer in your town, and after 4 PM on the island.
If it's summer in your town, sharks love stormy weather. ^_^
