I hate to turn down villagers' requests and want to increase my friendship levels with them. The packages usually have clothes they change into. Does it usually have them ask if it looks good and you can make them change out of it after trying it on? I also don't take their offers to buy things I'm carrying in fear they'll put it in their house. I know- I just really like them original as possible. O_O

So far all I can do for them is give them fruit? Lame. Hardly ever get asked for signatures for petitions. Do their random questions you answer also add to it? And the capsules? What else? I really want to cave and start doing the favors.

I tried posting this yesterday when forum went down and looked to see if it got posted but didn't find it so sorry if I'm mistaken and double-posted. ^^

going to their house when invited or allowing them to visit yours also raises friendship, i believe. and occasionally when they ask to play hide and seek, i think that raises friendship too.

as for the clothes thing, saying they look bad if they change into the clothes might make them change back, but sometimes it wont and they'll wear it regardless

but your best bet is to just give them fruit (perfect fruit, specifically), as that request i think is most common

Thank you for reminding me of those, too.

You can carry wallpaper and carpet in your pockets and keep furniture and clothing in your letters so that if you get randomly stopped, they'll buy the wallpaper and carpet off you instead. But yeah, every time they ask me to deliver something, its pretty scary, haha. You can always turn them down, of course.

I think turning down requests doesn't lower friendship level. What does is accepting a request such as catching a bug or delivering something and then forgetting to do so. If you turn down a request you'll usually see the text "it's OK" or "I understand". And I want to think they're being honest there :(

I just send them a letter everyday and talk to them a lot. I also send them wallpaper and flooring since that can't screw up their houses with that :)
