I just made a little guide on my Tumblr, so I thought I should share it here as well! Unless you guys already know about it then-- //hides in corner//

Copied and pasted from my guide XD
I?d like to share a little tip with all of you Mayors that want to tear down a PWP! Or if you can?t be bothered to pay for the demolition of it.

Note: You need ONE free character slot to make a New Save File

Step 1:
Load up a New Save File (doesn?t need to be on a new day)

Step 2: Go through Rover?s and Isabelle?s speech, and afterwards, go to Tom Nook

Step 3:
After Tom Nook follows you back, walk/run to the PWP you want gone

Step 4: Tell Tom Nook that you want to put your house where the PWP is

Step 5: The thieving raccoon will say you can put your house there*, but he will say that a PWP is in the way. He will still agree with putting your house there.

Step 6: The PWP is now gone!

Step 7: Go back to Isabelle, and she will save the game. Then you can Save & Quit, and delete the character if you like

Once you have done that, the PWP is gone!

This also works if you have several PWPs that are close together. For example, I had two metal benches next to each other, and when I plotted my house there, both of them were demolished at the same time,

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING!

- *In Step 5, Nook will only agree if there is enough space to put the house down

- Demolishing the temporary character will leave a dirt patch behind

- Remove hybrids or anything surrounding the PWP(s) before agreeing to put your house down

- Any trees, bushes and paths surrounding the house will also be destroyed

So yeah, that?s pretty much it! I find it to be a quick and efficient way to get rid of unwanted PWP(s) without having to TT or wait till the next day to demolish them one by one~

This is true and it works but it takes a very long time and dirt patches appear. Good thing the villagers doesn't destroy your PWPs.

i wishhhhhh this would work for the cafe, campsite, etc.

this would actually probably be the one thing that would make me restart on a character's house payment

knock off cafe so I can put the third bridge in a better spot and possibly the campsite too just because

on the plus side, if I was to ever share a town with someone I now know the perfect entry troll

instead of a lighthouse or pyramid or something else, they'll get to see a beautiful tent :^)

True, but that was why I gave a warning about the dirt patches first c;
And it only takes around 5 minutes to tear down a PWP, depending on how many you'd like gone, and if it would destroy trees, bushes, etc.
