Ok, so theres a popular thread roaming around for cyvling towns and how to efficiently cycle out any and all villagers in your town. This is not that. What this is is a guide to only get out villagers that you dont want. The only requirement is to have 9/10 villagers. Villagers won't move out if there are only 8.

Ready? Ok let's get started.

First talk to everyone in town. Even the villagers you don't want in town. Talk to them until they tell you to go away, or until they say ~so & so is moving~ And obviously if thats the person that you want out, then just tt until theyre out. If that isnt the villager you want out then make them ping you, tell them to stay and go to 1 day after the move-out date. And repeat step 2

But wait but wait! What if no one wants to move out!

MAKE SURE NO ONE WANTS TO MOVE. You may have to talk to 5 different villagers to find one that will spill the beans. You can tt up 1 day, sometimes theres no one the first day. I've never had to tt up more than one day at this point though. But if you're absolutely sure then time travel up 5 days and try again. This time there will be someone who wants to move out.

Did this help? Did I get anything wrong? Please comment your experience with this method in case it needs any tweeking.

~Thanks for Reading

I never recommend traveling more than a day or two at a time. I've had a villager tell me they're moving out two days from the time they pinged me. Five is the maximum number of days before move-out; time traveling more than two days can result in a villager being lost.

By that I meant if you knkw that no one is moving out then tt up five days because when a villager wants to leave they'll give a 5 day notice, but if you're 100% sure that no one wants to move then it's completely safe to move up 5 days.

That's way too much work. All you have to do is load your game on a new day, run past all outside villagers, and if no one pings there is no mover. Also two things you need to keep in mind. First, there can only be up to 5 villagers outside at a time. Secondly, if you don't talk to a certain villager at least once a week, that villager won't ping you when they are about to move.
