How to get food items?

I was given a sushi roll. I'd like to know how to get different foods.

You can usually get them on special character's RV. Some are Welcome Amiibo characters exclusive.

If the sushi roll is the same as the good-luck roll, you can get them on a Setsubun holiday event which is exclusive for Japan.

you can get chocolate cake from isabelle on valentine's day, chocolate hearts from a villager on valentine's day, wedding cake from graciegrace, chocolate coins from gulliver (if you answer his question wrong), lollipops on halloween, candy from the nooklings in october, and ice creams from streetpass. that's all i can think of right now. (sorry if this is hard to read, i'm on mobile)

If you need another drink then you could time travel to new year's eve to get a fizzy apple drink (basically apple cider), it's my personal favorite consumable item because it works similarly to the take-out coffee from Brewster and it makes little fizzing noises when you drink it.
