How to dodge the wasp attacks in acnh

It sounds ridiculous but in Animal Crossing you can actually dodge the wasp attacks. This would obviously, save your Bells so you are not buying medicine, but also save your character getting

i hurt.
To do this, you would need to get out a Net or be holding one when the wasp nest falls from the tree. When the nest falls from the tree, your character will be in big shock, so you will have to wait for them to get out of shock then they will face the swarm of wasps and then you can press 'A' to whack the wasps and you will be able to have a wasp in your pockets.
Another way to catch the wasps and get them away, is you can get a Party Popper out and press 'A' to use it and blast the wasps away with your confetti.

Yeah, I just run into buildings now considering I already have a wasp in my museum. It works for me, and that’s what matters.

You can also use party poppers to scare them off! I've never tried it myself I don't think, but I've seen many a video about it. It was going around a lot early last year I believe.

Have your net ready. Shake the tree and if you see the wasp nest immediately spam "A" and you'll catch the Wasp and they won't sting you.

i honestly just ‘save and quit’ whenever i want to avoid being attacked by wisps lol. it takes me a few minutes to get back to whatever i was doing in-game before the wasps showed up, but i’d rather that over being stung lol. irritates the hell out of me for some reason.

I use to just run around like crazy till I could find a building but all my islanders were always out walking so I just got bite hahah

Now I just don't care and I'll just stand there and get attacked haha
Usually my favourite islander Ed sees my face and gives me medicine.

Wasps are actually easy to catch. Way better than dodging in fact.

Just hold the net before shaking a tree. When the hive drops, DO NOT RUN. Instead, your character will face the bees automatically and press A immediarely to catch the bees.

You can either swing your net and catch them or run for your life, I had a giggle yesterday because I talked to Leif to see if they'd go away then immediately yeeted myself into the main building and managed to evade them, I really thought I was a goner...

I basically never carry around party poppers so I never knew that was a way to scare off the wasps, so that was neat to learn.

Not too difficult to catch them though, so I don't tend to get stung. I always have my net out when shaking trees, and if a nest falls out of a tree, I tend to run a small distance away and turn back to the swarm and catch them as they rapidly approach. Don't always need to move, you can just stay where you are, but it kind of depends on the vantage point, whether the tree is blocking the camera view and such.

I find the entering a building trick to be less reliable for me than just attempting proper capture, but hey, whatever works for people.

I just stand in front of the tree and not move until my character moves by itself then I swing the net. Another thing I do, is run in a straight line then turn around real fast and swing. I do this when my tree is too close to other things for me to just stand in front of it. It is tricky sometimes though.

I do find it odd that wasps can't be transferred to another being if they are standing really close. I think that would be funny to see. Like you run to a villager and they get caught in the swarm instead or they run near you because they got attacked and want your help and they get transferred to you instead.
This sounds awful that I am entertained by this thought... but lol. Its funny. People would make a mini game out of it with friends.
It could effect friendship levels since you should be able to use the net when they swarm around someone, or choose not to for whatever reason.

I keep my net out whenever I'm shaking a tree, and do so from the front. Nab those little buggers!
