How to catch a lobster?

How can you catch a lobster, or any other fast moving sea creature? Whenever I'm close to them they either disappear, or they get away by swimming past the rope. Is there a trick for this?

the best way i found is not to chase them if they are near the outer ropes... and also to swim as close to their shadow as possible so that when you dive you have less chasing to do!

I swim along the rope, so when I dive it tends to make the shadow swim away from the rope. Doesn't work everytime, but it does work sometimes.

They are a pain, you just gotta swim almost on top of them then dive down. At least the shadow is big!
