How rare is Marina .(Octopus) villager ?

She is more common that cranky and snooty characters because you have a relatively high chance of getting her as one of your first three starter house villagers (as they are locked to normal, lazy and peppy personalities).

If we're talking in terms of trading, I'd say she's pretty common as well. There are been a lot of auctions and trades with her on this forum in the past few weeks.

Taking those two things out of the equation and if we are just talking visiting Nook Miles + islands, she is, as far as we know at this point in time, as common as any other villager.

In terms of her moving randomly into your town, she's just as likely as any of the other 300+ villagers

I've found her 3 separate times on mystery islands so she's definitely not elusive. if you're looking for her, good luck! I hope you get her, she's so cute.

Yeah, she really is adorable. It hurt my heart to pass on her while island hopping but I didn't have room as I was looking for one specific villager.

Wouldn't say rare, I haven't encountered her yet.. Just the RNG game (maybe?). I mean... my wifes brother got Raymond and then Marina right after in his town through the campsite.. I cried a little

Oof, it was the opposite for me. I found Marina and then Raymond on the next island trip.
